Internet Services

Whatever your business needs in terms of connecting a single or multiple sites to the Internet and connections between sites in multiple locations we can provide the right package for your business. There are several different options to choose from including:

Asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL). This option provides increased speed using existing fixed copper phone lines and as the ‘asymmetric’ name suggests it provides faster data speed in one direction (e.g. downloads) than the other (e.g. uploads). This is a popular option for lower volume data requirements.

Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL) also offers increased speed over fixed copper phone lines but offers the same data rates up and downstream, thereby making it attractive where more consistent volumes of uploading and downloading of data are required.

Where Fibre Broadband is available it can offer a better and faster experience and can be particularly helpful for the use of services like video conferencing.

Business Leased Lines of different kinds e.g. GEA and EFM offer uncontended bandwidth because you essentially have your own data ‘pipe’. They offer reliability in terms of guaranteed upload and download speeds. They can carry high quantities of data at high speeds and are therefore are a good option where internet access is critical, and for operations like financial trading and video conferencing.

Ethernet First Mile (EFM) is a low cost leased line with cost advantage over fibre leased lines, and unlike ADSL and SDSL offers uncontended bandwidth i.e. there is now sharing of your bandwidth with other users at peak times. EFM also offers consistently high data speeds (typically 20 to 30 Mbps) at the same rate in both directions. EFM is therefore very reliable and can be used as an effective replacement for multiple ADSL lines or as an alternative voice call carrier.

Whatever your Internet Service requirements we can offer a package that is designed to match the needs of your business in terms of speeds and download limits, support, scalability, security and range of services.
